Pause King (Ben Kruper)

Ben Kruper is an American professional golfer and content creator from Woodbridge, Virginia, who went viral for the trademark pause at the top of his swing. His channel, started in 2023, has about 263K subscribers, and he won the 2024 Good Good Desert Open with partner Ashton Gaulin. He is a SuperStroke ambassador.

Ben Kruper uses a Wilson Dynapower Carbon Driver (9 @8). The driver is typically chosen for its combination of distance, forgiveness, and workability to suit the player's swing.

Ben Kruper uses a L.A.B. Golf DF3 Putter. Putter choice is highly personal among tour professionals, often staying with the same model for years.

Ben Kruper plays the Wilson Staff Model Ball. Tour players typically choose balls that match their swing speed and provide the spin characteristics they need around the greens.

Ben Kruper uses Wilson Staff Model Blade Irons. Iron selection on tour varies between players who prefer blades for workability and those who choose cavity backs for added forgiveness.

Ben Kruper plays a Fujikura Ventus Black 7 X in the driver, True Temper Dynamic Gold 120 X100 in the irons and True Temper Dynamic Gold 120 S400 in the wedges.

Ben Kruper uses SuperStroke REVL grips on the full-swing clubs and a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol 2.0 grip on the putter.

As of June 2025, Ben Kruper's bag includes a Wilson Dynapower Carbon Driver (9 @8), L.A.B. Golf DF3 Putter putter, and Wilson Staff Model Ball. Professional golfers typically update their equipment throughout the season based on performance and new releases.
