James Nicholas uses a Callaway Elyte Driver (9). The driver is typically chosen for its combination of distance, forgiveness, and workability to suit the player's swing.

James Nicholas uses a Odyssey Ai-ONE Jailbird Mini DB Putter. Putter choice is highly personal among tour professionals, often staying with the same model for years.

James Nicholas plays the Titleist Pro V1. Tour players typically choose balls that match their swing speed and provide the spin characteristics they need around the greens.

James Nicholas uses Titleist T100 Irons. Iron selection on tour varies between players who prefer blades for workability and those who choose cavity backs for added forgiveness.

James Nicholas plays a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 7 X in the driver and Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 120 X in the irons.

James Nicholas uses Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips on the full-swing clubs and a SuperStroke Zenergy grip on the putter.

As of January 2025, James Nicholas's bag includes a Callaway Elyte Driver (9), Odyssey Ai-ONE Jailbird Mini DB Putter putter, and Titleist Pro V1. Professional golfers typically update their equipment throughout the season based on performance and new releases.
