In Gee Chun

In Gee Chun is a South Korean professional golfer and three-time major champion, having won the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2016 Evian Championship and the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Her 21-under-par 263 at the 2016 Evian Championship was the lowest score to par ever shot in a major championship by a man or a woman. She joined the LPGA Tour in 2016 and was that season’s Rookie of the Year and Vare Trophy winner, and she has four LPGA Tour titles alongside 10 wins on the LPGA of Korea Tour and two on the LPGA of Japan Tour. Known to fans as “Dumbo”, a nickname from her coach that she prints on her golf bag, she also represented South Korea at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
