Shiho Kuwaki

Shiho Kuwaki is a Japanese professional golfer from Okayama City who won the 2026 AIG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes, beating Esther Henseleit on the second playoff hole for her first major championship and her first LPGA Tour title. She passed the JLPGA professional test in June 2021 and built her career on the LPGA of Japan Tour, where her five wins include the 2024 JLPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup. She has seven professional wins in total and rose to a career-best 15th in the Rolex Rankings after the Women’s Open. Kuwaki plays a yellow golf ball and is noted in the Japanese press for her distinctive on-course fashion.
