Evan Thompson

Evan Thompson is an Atlanta-based golf creator and elite amateur who was a dual-sport athlete at Kennesaw State — an All-American linebacker who also played golf — before founding the DUAL sport brand. He chases PGA Tour and U.S. Open qualifying on camera and won a U.S. Open local qualifier.

Evan Thompson uses a Mizuno ST-Z 230 Driver (8.5). The driver is typically chosen for its combination of distance, forgiveness, and workability to suit the player's swing.

Evan Thompson uses a Mizuno M-Craft X Putter. Putter choice is highly personal among tour professionals, often staying with the same model for years.

Evan Thompson plays the Mizuno Pro S Ball. Tour players typically choose balls that match their swing speed and provide the spin characteristics they need around the greens.

Evan Thompson uses Mizuno Pro S-3 Irons. Iron selection on tour varies between players who prefer blades for workability and those who choose cavity backs for added forgiveness.

Evan Thompson plays a Fujikura Ventus Black 7 X in the driver, True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 in the irons and True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 in the wedges.

As of May 2025, Evan Thompson's bag includes a Mizuno ST-Z 230 Driver (8.5), Mizuno M-Craft X Putter putter, and Mizuno Pro S Ball. Professional golfers typically update their equipment throughout the season based on performance and new releases.
