The Odyssey TRTL — short for Turtle — is a high-MOI mallet putter first spotted on the PGA Tour in early 2026, when Min Woo Lee put an unreleased TRTL S prototype in play at Pebble Beach (finishing T2 and ranking 2nd in Strokes Gained: Putting that week) before it was photographed at the Genesis Invitational. The hexagonal structure at the center of the head is modeled on a turtle shell, with the surrounding frame evoking its four legs — the structural key to its extremely high moment of inertia. The TRTL is the next-generation successor to Odyssey's iconic mallet lines — Two-Ball, #7, Rossie and Jailbird — with a compact head close to the Jailbird Mini in size, balancing stability with control. It introduces Odyssey's first four-sole-weight system: four weights placed at the front and rear of the lightweight hexagonal body that can be repositioned to tune CG, MOI and feel. The dual-structure Ai-STAR insert pairs a hard urethane front with an aluminum back for consistent ball speed with a soft feel, and deeper 19-degree FRD (Forward Roll Design) grooves minimize hop and start forward roll immediately. Dual Track alignment runs from the face through the rear of the head, and the flattened sole design helps the head sit square at address — most noticeable on fast, firm greens.
Official specs (Callaway Korea): TRTL DB, CH and S play at 3° loft / 70° lie with a 90g TRTL SL90 stepless Stroke Lab shaft and TRTL Tour Pistol grip (total weight at 34 inches: 551g / 547g / 548g). The zero-torque S2S TRTL ZT plays at 5° loft / 72° lie with a 120g SL120 shaft and Slip Reverse Tapered 2.0 grip at 561g. Lengths 33–35 inches (S2S also 32). Korean retail price: ₩407,000 (about $295).

Through 2026 the TRTL spread rapidly on tour: Si Woo Kim gamed it at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, it appeared at the Truist Championship and Cadillac Championship, Mark Hubbard and Nicolai Hojgaard put it in play at the Travelers Championship, and multiple TRTLs showed up at the John Deere Classic. Callaway Golf Korea officially launched the line on July 15, 2026 in four models — TRTL CH, TRTL DB, TRTL S and S2S TRTL ZT (Square 2 Square, Zero Torque) — and Japan followed: announced July 24, 2026, the TRTL goes on sale nationwide in Japan on August 7, 2026, priced at ¥53,900 for the standard DB, CH and S models (about $360) and ¥69,300 for the Square 2 Square zero-torque model (about $465). The staged Korea-then-Japan rollout points toward a wider release, but a US/global date has still not been officially announced — so outside Korea and Japan the TRTL remains tour-issue only and is not currently available at US retailers.
