Odyssey TRTL Putter

The TRTL is the next-generation successor to Odyssey's iconic mallet lines — Two-Ball, #7, Rossie and Jailbird — with a compact head close to the Jailbird Mini in size, balancing stability with control. It introduces Odyssey's first four-sole-weight system: four weights placed at the front and rear of the lightweight hexagonal body that can be repositioned to tune CG, MOI and feel. The dual-structure Ai-STAR insert pairs a hard urethane front with an aluminum back for consistent ball speed with a soft feel, and deeper 19-degree FRD (Forward Roll Design) grooves minimize hop and start forward roll immediately. Twin Track Alignment (two parallel sightlines running the full length of the topline) frames the target line, and the flattened sole design helps the head sit square at address — most noticeable on fast, firm greens.

The US lineup has four models, all with a 3° loft, 33, 34 or 35 inch lengths and the four-weight sole. The TRTL S (slant neck, 1/2-shaft offset, 30° toe hang, 355g head) suits the most arc of the three standard necks; the TRTL CH (crank hosel, full-shaft offset, 20° toe hang, 360g head) suits a moderate arc; and the face-balanced TRTL DB (double bend, 3/4-shaft offset, 0° toe hang, 355g head) is for a straight-back, straight-through stroke. All three are $349.99 at a 70° lie, with an Odyssey SL 120 TRTL black steel shaft and TRTL Pistol grip. The Square 2 Square TRTL Max ($399.99) is a larger head built in a Zero Torque configuration: 72° lie, 375g head, toe-up balance and 2° of built-in shaft lean, offset by a slimmer S2S TRTL Reverse Taper 2.0 grip. The DB and TRTL Max come in left-handed versions; the S and CH are right-handed only. Weight kits are sold separately.

Official specs (Callaway Korea): TRTL DB, CH and S play at 3° loft / 70° lie with a 90g TRTL SL90 stepless Stroke Lab shaft and TRTL Tour Pistol grip (total weight at 34 inches: 551g / 547g / 548g). The zero-torque S2S TRTL ZT plays at 5° loft / 72° lie with a 120g SL120 shaft and Slip Reverse Tapered 2.0 grip at 561g. Lengths 33–35 inches (S2S also 32). Korean retail price: ₩407,000 (about $295).

Min Woo Lee's original tour-spec TRTL S prototype (he has since moved to the TRTL DB): 2° loft, 70.75° lie, 33.125" length, stripe sightline, D3.2 swingweight, 530.4g total weight with 5g front / 15g back sole weights, SuperStroke Zynergy 2.0PT grip.

Through 2026 the TRTL spread rapidly on tour: Si Woo Kim gamed it at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, it appeared at the Truist Championship and Cadillac Championship, Mark Hubbard and Nicolai Hojgaard put it in play at the Travelers Championship, and multiple TRTLs showed up at the John Deere Classic. Callaway Golf Korea officially launched the line on July 15, 2026 in four models — TRTL CH, TRTL DB, TRTL S and S2S TRTL ZT (Square 2 Square, Zero Torque) — and Japan followed: announced July 24, 2026, the TRTL goes on sale nationwide in Japan on August 7, 2026, priced at ¥53,900 for the standard DB, CH and S models (about $360) and ¥69,300 for the Square 2 Square zero-torque model (about $465). On September 30, 2026 the US release was confirmed, and on October 29, 2026 Odyssey opened US and European pre-orders for all four models: the TRTL S, TRTL Double Bend and TRTL CH at $349.99 (€399 in Europe) and the zero-torque Square 2 Square TRTL Max at $399.99 (€439). Orders began shipping on November 6, 2026, and all four models are now in stock. US models come standard with an Odyssey SL 120 TRTL steel shaft at 34 inches and a TRTL Pistol grip (the TRTL Max uses an S2S TRTL Reverse Taper 2.0 grip).
