Y.E. Yang (Yang Yong-eun) authored one of golf's most improbable major upsets when he overhauled a final-round Tiger Woods at the 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine, finishing three strokes ahead of the world No. 1 to become the first male player born in Asia to win a major. Born on Jeju Island, he didn't pick up a club until age 19. He recorded four PGA Tour wins including the 2009 Honda Classic and now competes on the PGA Tour Champions while running an indoor golf range in Dallas's Koreatown.
